Description
Toccatina is a great choice as a showstopper piece for an early intermediate level student. It is technically quite simple, using three fingers in the right hand for a Tarantella-style motif, along with root position triad arpeggios. The ternary (A-B-A) form makes it quite easy to memorize since the return of the A-section is the same as the beginning. Students will quickly feel surprised and accomplished after mastering this easy to learn piece. As a showstopper, students will gladly perform this for friends and family, giving them extra performance experience.
