Sunrise At Sea

Description

Sunrise At Sea is reminiscent of a sea shanty. In the 6/8 time signature it evokes the rising and falling of a ship at sea with the ascending and descending melody in the A-section. In the B-section it spans across the keyboard, so it is technically impressive yet pianistically accessible. This is a perfect addition to a recital program, festival, or evaluation.
