Singing in the Morning

Description

This is a pre-reading, black key composition. The student can hold the pedal down throughout for a more dramatic effect. The left hand  plays clusters of black keys, in groups of three, either with curved fingers or with a gently closed fist while the right melody spans five black keys for the melody. This would be a great opportunity to introduce students to the pentatonic scale. This piece is perfect for recitals, festivals, or evaluations and the lyrics are fun too!
